Chicks, Ducklings, & Turkey Poults
We begin stocking chicks, ducklings, and turkey poults in March. Chicks are available until October, while ducklings and turkeys are usually stocked through June. All baby chicks are vaccinated for Marek's Disease at the hatchery before they arrive at our store. You can see most of the types we carry in our Chicken & Poultry Breeds Gallery. We rarely have all breeds stocked at the same time, so please call us in advance if you're interested in a particular breed. The chicks are available on a first come first serve basis. This does not include special orders made by individual customers. •• Due to shipping problems, the sell dates and breeds received sometimes vary. Please call ahead to make sure that we have indeed recieved the breed you want and that it's in stock. •• They're quite popular, and sell very quickly. •• (An "X" in the schedule means that chicks will be available to buy on the date given). • The 2012 Chick Season Is Almost Here! • Here's the schedule of whats to come.
